Dr. Debbie Kilburn started at the University of Guelph in a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences program under the Board of Governor's and J.D. MacLachlan scholarships. She was then accepted into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the Ontario Veterinary College the following year, and graduated in 2003. Debbie then headed to the east coast and completed a rotating small animal internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College. She then spent 3 years working in Nevada at a busy 24 hour small animal hospital while her veterinarian husband completed his neurosurgery residency. Together, they moved to Toronto in 2007 to be back in Canada, and close to family and cottage country.
Debbie lives in Etobicoke with her husband, two kids, Golden Retriever (Nelson), cats (Marcus and Peekay), and dumbo rats (Cookie and Cream). She is a co-owner in the practice and has interests in surgery, dentistry, and ultrasound. Debbie loves hiking, biking, skiing, surfing, horseback riding, and running with and after her family!
