Isabel has had an avid, lifelong interest in animals, wildlife, and veterinary care. Growing up, she always insisted on tagging along to veterinary visits with her family's two cats. After working at various cafés in the city and volunteering for Toronto Cat Rescue, she enrolled in the Veterinary Assistant Program at Georgian College in Orillia. In August 2021, she finished the program and received her diploma, with honours, just before starting at Dundas West Animal Hospital.
When not at work, Isabel enjoys reading, hiking, going to concerts, and biking around the city with her partner. She also loves hanging out with her family dog (Maisie), a rambunctious Bernese mountain dog mix. This is Isabel’s first experience working in the veterinary field and she is excited to learn and be a part of this community.
