Lyla has always had a deep love and respect for animals. She is fortunate to have grown up around dogs, cats, horses, geckos, macaws, dumbo rats, and other species. When not at DWAH, Lyla loves doing continuing education in veterinary medicine, traveling and kayaking, but is often busy caring for the hot mess cats that somehow always seem to find her.
