Bekah lives with her three cats (Luna, Freya, Nora) and a ball python named Lucille. She has been fortunate to work in a variety of roles from client service to being in the treatment room. Her first experience in veterinary medicine was volunteering at a veterinary clinic in 2015.
Bekah graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Veterinary Technology program in 2023 and has worked primarily in general practice with some experience in shelter medicine.
Bekah's primary interest is animal behaviour - she is Low Stress Handling Silver Certified, Fear Free Elite certified and a Feline Friendly Veterinary Professional. She is always excited to find new behaviour continuing education opportunities.
When Bekah is not working she enjoys photography, cross stitching, crochet and listening to drum and bass.
