LASER THERAPY

At Dundas West Animal Hospital, we offer therapeutic laser treatments for a multitude of acute or chronic conditions including osteoarthritis, dermatitis, ear infections, and wounds. We also laser all post-op surgical incisions and dental extractions to ensure faster healing, recovery, and pain control. Laser therapy is non-invasive, safe and helps to increase blood flow into inflamed tissues and aid in faster healing, and can help reduce the amount of pain medications needed.  

Can my pet tolerate laser therapy?

Many people worry their pets will not tolerate laser therapy. However, most pets find it relaxing and enjoy it very much. Therapy sessions are often short, with no additional requirements such as sedation or fur removal, making it easier for pets to sit through the sessions.
