Our practice is owned and operated by Dr. Alex Folosea, Dr. Debbie Kilburn, and Dr. Kim Buchanan and partnered with Vet Strategy since 2021.
World-Class Technology
As a full-service hospital, we offer the most advanced tools and techniques available for our patients. We provide a range of on-site services such as wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, vaccinations, as well as nutritional and behavioural consultations.
Cat-Only Services
In August 2023, we opened a cat-only state-of-the-art hospital located directly adjacent to our existing location. Meanwhile, our previous facility is now a dog hospital. Our two practices have separate entrances but share the same dedicated team you are used to seeing.
Our certified Cat Friendly Practice (Gold Level) is designed to cater exclusively to the needs of our feline patients. It facilitates elevated care by reducing stress for the cats, our clients, and our veterinary team. Our mission is to provide better accessibility to veterinary care for cats. With our feline-centric approach, both patients and owners can feel more comfortable taking trips to the vet. At Dundas West, all kittens and cats can feel at home.

A message from Dr. Scott Bainbridge
After much reflection, I wanted to personally share with you that I am retiring from my veterinary practice after 25 years in Toronto's west end. This has been a truly rewarding journey, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you've placed in me and the opportunity to care for your beloved pets over the years.
It has been a privilege to follow your pets as they grow and thrive, and I am proud of the bond we’ve built together. While I am excited for the next chapter of my life, I will certainly miss working with you and your furry family members.
I want to assure you that your pet’s care will continue to be a priority. I’ve worked closely with the team of veterinarians at DWAH and am confident that they will provide the same level of compassionate and expert care you’ve come to expect.
