Nataliya grew up in Waterloo with two family dogs. It was a well-known fact that she was a crazy dog person from a young age, and to this day she still wears that badge with honour. Her passion for animals is apparent in, if nothing else, her insistence on having them involved in all aspects of her life despite her allergies to most of them.
She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism in 2012. Two years later, she adopted a dog from Cozumel, Mexico named Bo. Bo helped her realize she was not feeling fulfilled in her chosen career path, and inspired her to take a chance at pursuing a career in the veterinary field. She volunteered at a local clinic in early 2015 and quickly fell in love with the job and never looked back.
She worked as a customer service representative at another Toronto clinic for 5 years before joining the Dundas West team. She loves every aspect of her job and talks about it to anyone who will listen. She loves that she gets to learn and teach others something new every day.
