Dr. Drago Kovacevic is a recent graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. He has had a strong passion for helping pet owners and their companion animals since he was a high school student. He worked in vet clinics, including Dundas West Animal Hospital, while completing his Biomedical Science degree at York University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Guelph. With 10 years of experience in the industry, he is extremely excited to be working as a veterinarian, helping you maintain your pet's health and well-being.
His professional interests include internal medicine, emergency care, and neurology. He believes that every pet should feel comfortable and safe during their vet visits. For this reason, he makes fear free medicine a priority – he is Level 1 Fear Free certified.
Outside of work, Drago enjoys spending his time with good company and staying active with various sports. His 8-year-old German Shepherd (Argo), loves to swim, hike, and constantly reminds him of the strength of the human-animal bond.
Dr. Kovacevic looks forward to creating meaningful veterinarian-patient-client relationships and enabling pet owners to better understand and promote their companions' health.
