Tracy

Born and raised in Toronto, Tracy has always had a love for cats, dogs, and anything else on four legs. However, unlike many in the veterinary community, she didn't have a furry friend growing up! Her family only ever raised a single goldfish in her childhood (we miss you everyday, Goldie!) and as much as she'd wanted to take the fish out to pet it (don't worry, she didn't), all she dreamed of was to one day snuggle with a cat or two.
Luckily, she soon got her wish! As she got older, she was introduced to the world of veterinary care when she began volunteering at non-profit cat shelters across the GTA and her love for the field flourished. Her heart for animals and her excitement for meeting new people led her to the front desks of Dundas West Animal Hospital.

Formerly a client supervisor at previous animal hospitals, her favourite part of the day is building a relationship with each and every person that walks through the doors. She also actively strives to learn more about small animal medicine every day, inquiring from the brightest brains at Dundas West. From pet nutrition to kitten care to geriatric wellness, she's passionate about it all and is always looking to improve her knowledge.

Following her education at the University of Waterloo with a focus in history and international politics, she is looking to one day go back to school in hopes of furthering her work in the veterinary field.

In her spare time, you can find Tracy curled up with a book, watching hockey and basketball with friends, dancing to Taylor Swift, or cuddling with her two cats (Olive and Bean).
